The measuring range for wind speed goes up to 125 miles per hour and for wind direction is between 0 and 359 degrees. The unit also displays wind chill temperature between –99 degrees C to 70 degrees F. The accuracy rate of wind speed measurements is plus or minus 0.4 miles per hour and, in steady wind conditions, the anemometer transmits new data to the display once every minute. Powered by a solar transmitter, the anemometer also comes with two 1.5-volt batteries for backup power and offers 433 MHz wireless transmission up to 300 feet.
